Mercedes-Benz of Portsmouth is looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager who will be responsible for profitability of new and used vehicles, effective personnel management, and more.

At least 3 years of Auto Sales Management experience is required.

Responsibilities – Sales Manager:

• Hire, train, and manage a high-performance sales team
• Drive sales and produce results
• Desk deals
• Manage used car inventory levels and days in stock
• Appraise cars
• Manage certified pre-owned program
• Work with Parts & Service Manager's to shepherd used cars through reconditioning
• Order new vehicles
• Monitor contracts in transit

Qualifications - Sales Manager:

• At least 3 years of Automotive Sales Management experience is required
• Strong leadership, management, and sales skills
• A strong closer
• Proficient in computing and quoting sales price
• Understand dealership operations including all aspects of sales and finance
• Outgoing with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong work ethic and social media skills
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service - before, during and after a sale
• Valid driver's license and insurance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
